A person that is shy can be labeled in many ways. Stuck-up, anti-social, goody-two-shoes, too good, stand-offish etc. People and their ignorance tend to label a person without getting to know them. We judge by what we see not by what we know. When we see a quiet person we automatically think that something is wrong with them, when in fact nothing is wrong with them. They are perfectly fine. They are a quiet storm that if given a chance they will brighten your day, be a faithful friend, as well show you what they are made of. They are God’s gift to the world just as the person who is out going and ready to share their skills and ability without inhibition.
Society should be educated and aware that everyone is different and that we have unique traits and abilities. Just because a person is quiet, doesn’t mean that they are weird. Understand that they need time to process all the information that is presented to them. Quiet people are not stuck-up they just don’t require a lot of social interaction or they don’t know how to interact without feeling awkward. If you see a quiet person be a friend.
